NVC is a private investment bank focused on assisting private investors in identifying,
screening and investing in Pre-Seed and Seed companies with significant growth and
exit potential that suit the unique characteristics of each private investor. NVC represent
a diverse team of "Angels" coming from different fields within the hi-tech and medical
devices industries as well as "experienced Angels" from unrelated industries.
As the investment branch of the Guberman Group, a well established accounting firm
specializing in providing a variety of financial services to hi-tech companies and
Executives in Israel and abroad, NVC’s skilled and experienced team is perfectly
positioned to put in place a professional methodology of opportunities screening. NVC's
methodology and "know how" is continuously supported by the investigative and
analytic capabilities of the Guberman group’s workforce as well as its close cooperation
with opinion leaders and professional experts representing the diverse fields comprising
the complex and sophisticated hi-tech marketplace.
As an investment bank supporting both companies and investors, NVC's screening
process focuses on the great challenge of carefully identifying those ventures "most
likely to succeed" from a vast range of early stage companies seeking capital. NVC
methodology encompasses the following:
• Quick look into the company's venture potential and suitability to the Angel's
investment portfolio.
• One-on-one interviews to assess the capabilities and aspirations of the company's key
personnel.
• Initial analysis of the company's venture and presentation including feedback and
additional information requests when relevant.
• In-house data collection and analysis of the company's technology, business model,
marketplace survey, competitive landscape, planned budget analysis, initial experts
feedback and assessment of the additional materials received from the founders.
• Series of meetings with professionals and experts with specific knowledge in the
company’s field of operation.
Once an investment candidate completes NVC's "qualification for investment” process
successfully, NVC prepares a two page "Brief for Investors" document and launches a
"Company Road Show" for NVC Angels.
Following the "Road Show", NVC leads a closure process of the investment round
including contract negotiations and detailed finalization of investment terms.
After completion of the investment round, NVC's role continues to the post investment
stage. As investments are usually made by a group of Angels, NVC holds their shares in
the company in escrow
At this stage, NVC continues to manage its Angels investments through joining the
company's BoD as the investors representative, providing the investors with periodic
reports regarding company status and progress towards achieving its milestones.
NVC’s seat/s on the BoD is subject to the principal of adding value to the company and
its investors. In cases where one of NVC's Angels or any other individual is better suited
to create value for the company, the seat/s on the BoD will be taken by that individual/s.
NVC has positioned itself as a prime source of Private Equity Investments to companies
focusing on a desire to deploy a concrete ‘go to market’ strategy aiming at a relatively
short EXIT plan (usually M&A-based) that is well suited for both founders and Angels
interests.
Other companies that are well suited to NVC's investment philosophy are companies
that aspire to achieve significant milestones to elevate the company's valuation and
attractiveness based on Private Equity investments while delaying cooperation with
Venture Capital Funds to a later stage.
NVC seeks to engage with Hi-Tech and Medical Device companies; namely IT, Web
development, Hardware and Communications. Other possible candidates include any
other company with considerable growth potential and/or potential leaders in their field
that suits NVC’s investment philosophy.
